About
Carissa Thompson, FNP, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who offers preventative care services and overall health maintenance for her patients. She also cares for people with acute illness and offers minor procedures as part of her practice.
Carissa became an advanced practice provider to fulfill her goal of helping people. She wants patients to feel comfortable and confident that they are getting the best care possible and works with each patient to create a care plan centered on what helps them and meets their goals.
Outside of work, Carissa’s hobbies include crafting, gardening and doing anything outside. She has a cockapoo named Teddy and a golden doodle named Calvin.
