Helping in Haiti
A massive, 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti near the capital of Port-au-Prince on Tuesday, January 12th. The damage to buildings is extensive and the number of injured or dead is estimated to be in the thousands.
Capital Region pedicatrician Dr. Douglas Boudreau went to the island nation in October of 2009 to administer health care to Haiti’s many poor families.
In response to the recent devastation, Dr. Boudreau is planning a return trip to assist with relief efforts. CRMC is providing 300 lbs. of medical supplies to help aide Dr. Boudreau’s efforts during his return 9-day mission trip.

While most of us want to help, but can’t in person, a monetary gift is the best way to offer support.
Your gift now will help distribute life-saving relief supplies – including food, clean water, blankets, and tents -- to children and families devastated by the earthquake and aftershocks in Haiti.
